Part of the process for export of sesame and watermelon requires that the seeds be cleaned to remove the covers. Other customers require further hulling of seeds to extract any impurities and separate the various qualities of the product. In 1997 the Group installed the First Hulling Plant with best machinery of European standards. The Hulling plant is the only plant in Sudan that produces 99.5 % and 99.9 % quality. The Cleaning & Hulling Plant was commissioned in 1997 with the objectives of securing the quality of our products and cost efficiency. The Company is located in Port of Sudan, the gateway for export of Sudanese products. The Cleaning & Hulling Plant has a well equipped laboratory for quality assurances. The Plant provides the services to Mahgoub Group, as well as other customers. The Group owns 10,000 Cu M of warehouses attached to the Plant.
