EL NILEIN ENGINEERING & SPARE PARTS COMPANY LTD. (NESPCO)

NESPCO was registered in 1979 to supply machinery and equipment for the agricultural industry. The company imports and markets agricultural machines, equipments, and spare parts. NESPCO offers an efficient after sales service. The company enjoys very strong relationship with suppliers of the well-known MASSEY FERGUSON of U.K. NESPCO has the capacity to absorb newer agencies in the agricultural and other related machinery.

Tractors and discs
Main clients includes sudanese sugar factories and the major state agricultural schemes in GEZIRA, RAHAD and NEW HALFA. The workshop receives parts from MASSEY FERGUSON and assemble discs unit using local skills. Currently they have joined giad, a successful semi-government project for assembly of small horse-power tractors. This project has reduced the cost of the imported tractor by about 20%. All products are sold under warranty.

Generators
The company markets the successful massey ferguson and super star generators. Capacity ranges from 10 kva to 300 kva. Excellent after sales service and spare parts are provided.

Spare parts
The company has branches in KHARTOUM, ELGEDARIF, KOSTI and SENNAR to handle spare parts. Stocks of over 1,000 different items of spare parts for MASSEY FERGUSON. Arrangements are available for supply of spare parts from U.K. on urgent delivery basis.

Workshop activities
NESPCO has workshop facilities in KHARTOUM and GEDARIF with qualified and well trained mechanics and the latest tools for provision of efficient services. Old and used tractors are rehabilitated at our workshops. The end product is as good as the new tractor.

SUDANESE CANADIAN COMPANY
This is a joint venture business between MAHGOUB SONS GROUP and AGRICULTURAL BANK OF SUDAN. The objective of the venture is to assemble agricultural implements. Excellent workshop facilities are available in ELGEDARIF to assemble a large number of implements. The company has provision to manufacture the parts in the future.

MAHGOUB SONS AGRICUTURAL COMPANY LTD. (MASA)
Started operation of cultivating sorghum and sesame on a farm of 60,000 hectares in ELGEDARIF (EASTERN SUDAN). In 1991 the company was converted to a limited liability company. This enabled the company to own over 20,000 hectares  of prime land. The company's agricultural activities have now been extended to growing cotton and sunflower, with increased use of mechanization and latest technology in agriculture.

JUDIA PROJECT FOR AGRICULTURAL & ANIMAL PRODUCTION.
Commenced operations in 1983 on 450 acres of irrigated land stretching along the blue nile, SOUTH OF KHARTOUM. The company produces vegetables, fodder and wheat. It also breeds sheep and produces milk and fruits. 

CLEANING AND HULLING COMPANY (PORT SUDAN)
Part of the process for export of sesame and watermelon requires that the seeds be cleaned to remove the cover layers. Other customers require further hulling of seeds to extract any impurities and separate the various qualities of the product. In 1997 the group installed the first hulling plant the with best machinery of european standards. The hulling plant is the only plant in SUDAN that produces 99.5 % and 99.9 % quality. The cleaning & hulling plant was commissioned in 1997 with the objectives of securing the quality of our products and cost efficiency. The company is located in PORT SUDAN, the gateway for export of sudanese products. The cleaning & hulling plant has a well equipped laboratory for quality assurances. The plant provides the services to MAHGOUB SONS GROUP, as well as other customers. The group owns 10,000 cu2 of warehouses attached to the plant. 

DELTA FOOD PROCESSING & PACKING COMPANY. (DELTA)
DELTA was formed to enter the food manufacturing industry and to have the product packed to reach the consumer level. DELTA has started producing consumer packs for lentils and milk powder. DELTA is also a supplier for bakeries and the wholesale market. Future plants will cater for variety of other products that will include local crops. Further developments are in progress to set our own manufacturing facility in KHARTOUM.

COMMODORE TRANSPORT COMPANY
COMMODORE the youngest of the group's activities, commenced in june, 2001 with a fleet of 50 trucks. The fleet is expected to grow to 200 trucks within the next 2 years. The company's main challenge is to cope with the transportation of the group's imports and exports between PORT SUDAN, KHARTOUM and the farming towns. This will assure efficient and timely delivery of goods. The company has acquired workshop facilities in a strategic location in KHARTOUM, where qualified personnel supervise the activities of the company.
